Famed far and wide for its somewhat spooky air, this mid-American metropolis is
home to just about every form of beastie known to man – though, of course, your
run of the mill human might not be aware of this. A haven for freaks and beasts,
the City, set on the banks of the River Avann and overshadowed by the foreboding
Slieve Mountain, has a constant air of the macabre – helped not, one might imagine,
by the curious lack of sunshine. This is mostly blamed by the clueless locals on the
numerous factories that adorn the banks on the East side, long since abandoned
and left to ruin following the collapse of industry – once an up and coming industrial
town, Rivermont is now a crime filled smog fest. Yet life persists.
