Describing Belladonna's personality would best be done like describing that of a sunflower. Bright, full of color in all regards, she can clear up a cloudy room with her mere presence and smile. She is always following the sunlight and for a witch who has done some dark things in her younger days, you'd never think it with her happy-go-lucky personality.
She is very, very talkative and only ever stops when the situation demands it, and sometimes not even then. She has a talent for somehow finding something to say about anything and everything. If she can find a way to compliment someone, she will. If she can find a way to insult someone, she will. There is no filter on her lips, only lipstick.
It's a miracle some days that people put up with her, she is very upfront about what she wants, who she wants it from and how she wants it given. She is a bit annoying if you aren't used to her ramblings and if you ever tell her to shut it, she will break down. She is very, very sensitive to judgement about her physical appearance, but she won't hesitate to let you know what she thinks about yours.
She is extremely Naive, believing almost anything anyone says which has lead to countless boyfriends, girlfriends and heartaches. She has a new one at least every few months but because of her sunshiny attitude, she bounces back fairly quickly to the point where her friends have just excepted that one day will be heartbroken and the next it will be like nothing ever happened.
HISTORY
Belladonna's history started when her mother, Jasmine Fleur, -a very talented witch- had a one night stand with a werewolf. Nine long month after that Belladonna came into the world, small but strong willed. She was a cute child but her mother was always very precise about how she needed to look and act. Her father was a big part of her life when she was little but after the age of 5 he hopped out of the picture entirely, all due to her mother. See, Belladonna's father was only sticking around to see if the child would become a werewolf, if so he planned on taking the child to Oak Hills with him but Jasmine forbade it, insisting that the child would be a witch, like her.
At a young age it was clear that her mother was correct, Belladonna had the gift. Her mother was very strict with her teaching and raising and in all honesty it led to quite a bit of verbal abuse and some physical. Once she was old enough she became apart of Our Lady of Water where she finally managed to get a little slack from her mother's strict teachings and she was able to make some friends. Estelle Catarina LaRoux and FoxGlove, her true loves. She followed them around like a lost duckling and only after a few months with them her silent, shy personality transformed into the talkative creature you see today. After they began to grow closer and closer she realized that they were more of her true family then her mother and she began to rebel, dying her hair, getting tattoos and eventually leaving her mother's strict parenting behind her. Belladonna is a very talented witch who likes to focus more on animals and familiars, helping them when they get sick or injured with her magic. Think of her more like a veterinarian, but with magic. Belladonna found her Familiar when she was about 3 years old, Her mother nearly killed it but luckily the bat found it's way up and down the chimney. Once her mother realized what it was, the bat never left Belladonna's side -it only took until Belle was 6-. Belle named the bat Ferdinand and she sometimes refers to it as "Andy".
