Elody is a futile siren, she doesn't like confrontations and will go looking for a fight as she loves the thrill of killing something in between her hands. She is a very curious yet naive human when on land as she usually gets herself in trouble and doesn't understand why she shouldn't touch or take from places that needs money.
As a human, she thinks she was sweet, calm and a bubbly person but she can't remember it as her other side of her gave into the animistic side much more than her human self. Elody is the type to fight first then ask questions in less words later.
HISTORY
Elody Pownell, born in the year 1819 during the great panic due to financial problems, but her parents were able to make the money last until she was old enough to work to get what money she could so she could survive and help her parents with the bills in order to keep the home she lived in.
Her childhood consisted of working in bakeries and grocery stores in the hopes of earning cash and some baked goods to take home so she wouldn't have to starve like she did most nights when her parents couldn't bring in the money for that weekend after their jobs had to cut down on employees and their wages in order to spread it out evenly.
Eventually they were able to get enough money, but they decided not to have a second child as it was already hard raising Elody as babies costs money and money is not what they want to lose so they decided she was enough on their plates. It wasn't until Elody decided to go to college that they refused to help her pay so she worked three jobs in the hopes she'd have enough to last her a year through college as she wanted to study as a marine biologist as she loves to work with the animals and the body of water.
On a random July night, the night was warm, people were at the beach celebrating someone's acceptance into college and Elody decided to join in hopes to forget about the fact she couldn't get her parents to pay for her tuition. A drink in hand, her mind free of random thoughts, Elody thought she could get through this which she smiled at her own thoughts before someone had pushed her off the ramp into the lake unaware of the fact that she couldn't swim. Her body flailed in the water as she screamed herself raw that she couldn't swim, but the music was so damn loud that she ended up drowning in the water and died.
When Elody woke up, the only thing she did was to freak out as she was in water, but the panic soon settled to calm as she realized she was able to swim yet she wasn't sure what the actual fuck was going on but as she swam around in the water, a smile appeared on her face as she made her way to the surface in hopes to get the answers she needed. Her tail morphed into her legs as she made her way across the beach, snatching a jogger from her daily routine of her morning walks, eating her way through as she felt the feral side of her overtaking her and leaving a bloody trail where the body lay as she took her clothes.
Not knowing where she should go, Elody decided to walk her way into town in hopes to getting some answers as she was confused about her situation but ended up making her way to New Orleans as she heard of some people talking about the city having weird people and how they act which intrigued Elody's curiosity and decided to make her way to see what the fuss was about. The time she spent in New Orleans was amazing to her as she was able to feed off a few people and adapted to their language as well as keeping to herself as she didn't know a few until she met Ben and Gabriella who helped her reattach her humane side to keep her from going feral. They are into a Poly-amorous relationship, but she feels that Gabriella is pulling away from them which she didn't mind as she loves Ben.
