Oak Hill Pack

Oak Hill built itself around the ancestral seat of the Robespierre family, a sprawling but old plantation home. The original Robespierre land stretched and claimed both woods and arable land for itself, but as the Robespierre found their coin in other areas, they turned the farmland into lots for other werewolf families. Eventually, with time, came more families of means and more homes, until the Robespierre land became the basis for a strong and wealthy pack. The wrought iron fence came later, replacing the loose boundaries of the old plantation. The houses have been expertly kept up over the years, and new ones have been built on what land could be found. Oak Hill became one of the area’s first true elite, gated communities, and Robespierre still lords over the pack.

From the outside perspective, the Hill seems like any other community, but humans cannot see the magic wards that lock the place down. They also cannot see that, on the nearby game lease, wolves run every full moon. There are always rumors, but Oak Hill has kept itself isolated and secret all these years. Most Oak Hill children attend a small private school on the grounds, taught by other pack members. The amount of space within Oak Hill is limited, and the only way to get in is to inherit one of the older homes, which tend to be passed to eldest children. The homes around the community, however, are stocked with lesser pack members who provide some sort of service to Oak Hill, like security, health care, education, etc. These are the pack peripherals, who are not quite not-Oak Hill but also not Oak Hill "proper."
